The first time I ever had a piece of cake with this frosting, I thought the taste was so unique, I begged my parent's neighbor for the recipe. It was so simple. It tastes best on a yellow or spice cake.
Ingredients:
3 cups confectioners sugar
1/3 cup butter
3 tbl cream
1 & 1/2 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Melt butter in a skillet...WATCH closely, so it DOES NOT BURN. When butter starts to color (light tan)...remove from heat and combine with confectioners sugar, cream, and vanilla. THAT EASY!
